The stunning grounds of Lanzerac took my breath away. I loved the ancient trees and the view of the mountains. My room, a Classic Room, was both comfortable and luxurious. The minibar stocked with complimentary treats, especially a bottle of wine, was a delightful surprise. Breakfast was a treat with plenty of choices, and I enjoyed the hot and cold options available. The wine tasting experience was exceptional and truly a highlight of my stay. However, I faced some issues. there was noise coming from outside during the day that disrupted my peace. Communication with the reception could improve, as I encountered delays in getting confirmations for additional services. Despite these inconveniences, I had a memorable experience and would recommend visiting for the beauty and great food.

During my stay, I loved exploring the beautiful grounds filled with old trees while enjoying a delightful wine tasting, and I found the famous Stellenbosch University Botanical Garden, just a short walk away, to be a perfect spot for a leisurely stroll amid vibrant flora.

I had a fantastic stay. The grounds are fine with beautiful trees and mountains. Our suite was luxurious and well-designed. The staff was attentive and friendly. The dining experience was wonderful with delicious food.

We had a fantastic family getaway, enjoying the stunning vineyard views and relaxing by the pool with our dog. The staff treated us like royalty, and the wine tasting experience was a highlight. The kids loved the space to explore and play outside.

My kids wished there were more activities suitable for younger ones, perhaps a dedicated play area would be fantastic.

The visit offered a stunning backdrop and beautifully decorated rooms that exuded comfort, yet the dining experience was less satisfactory, with cold dishes being a recurring problem. Service was friendly, but the pool area needed better upkeep prior to our arrival.

This place is a solid choice for short visits in Stellenbosch with great value for the money. The meal I had at the restaurant was truly excellent, adding a nice touch to my stay. Make sure to report any issues with the fridge early on to avoid delays.
